Old Arizona Brass Band
Tucson Entertainment Groups Recommended by John Prokop
Old Arizona Brass Band – a 20 piece historic band providing a living representation of the military and civilian bands that performed in Arizona during the period 1872 to 1912. When you see & hear the Old Arizona Brass Band, you experience the real music of the military and town bands of the western frontier. We perform as either the 4th Cavalry Regimental Band that was stationed at old Ft. Lowell in the late 1800s, or as a typical town band of this same period. In either case we wear the authentic period uniforms. You may be interested in taking advantage of the concert series we have at the Ft. Lowell museum in November, February and April.  We also often put together a small band of 5-10 musicians when needed for small venues.  Our small band does an excellent Christmas program.  John Prokop is our Band Manager and our musical leader is Al Vreeland.
