Tucson Entertainment Groups Recommended by John Prokop

Welcome to my entertainment pages.  Here you'll see my recommendations for music groups for your consideration in meeting your entertainment needs.  You'll find a variety of different bands and one of Tucson's premier choruses.  Here you'll also find my Tucson entertainment blog where you'll get my thoughts and views about Tucson musical entertainment and what is happening within these 8 groups. I hope you'll find this site useful and return often.

I represent several music organizations that perform regularly for a wide range of venues, from private parties,  business functions, trade shows, dances, historic events, festivals, senior communities and assisted living homes, concerts, and almost any other type of venue.   I hope you will consider one of these 8 groups when you plan your future entertainment. All of these are made up of experienced musicians that are well respected in the greater Tucson area.  All organizations have websites with photos of the group, their schedules, and examples of their sound. Several have videos of past performances.  All have special fees for Retirement/Assisted Living venues and will negotiate their fees to be able to perform for you.  Some of these perform year-around.

Below are the Musical Groups I recommend to you, and incidentally, I do lead some of these and play the Bass in all of the Bands.  I've included the Southern Arizona Women’s Chorus since I'm a member of their Board and have a daughter singing with the group.  I can assist you in arranging the booking for all of these groups or you can use the contact mentioned, if different, on the groups website.  I hope you find this information useful and will contact me about possibilities, and please mention my name if you contact them on your own.
